Enrique Martinez Celaya is a Cuban American artist whose work consists of painting, sculpture, photography, and poetry. Martínez Celaya uses the human figure in the landscape as a means to explore the nature of human experience and themes surrounding and memory, identity and displacement. His work is included in the public collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, California among others. He is represented by LA Louver, Los Angeles, California, Jack Shainman Gallery, New York, and Berggruen Gallery, San Francisco.
