Mari Andrews is primarily a sculptor and installation artist. Her work has evolved out of years of drawing and obsessive collecting. She employs wire, pine needles, branches and other linear materials to continue the drawing practice while moving the work into the sculptural realm. She holds an MFA from Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles, and has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, Tokyo and the San Francisco bay area and is the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship.
