Tauba Auerbach paid her third visit to Paulson Fontaine Press studio in December of 2012, creating a set of six prints: Mesh/Moire I – VI, color soft ground prints. Her process has always incorporated experimentation. Often she would deliberate over her strategies for a long time before acting. In the years leading up to this printmaking session, perhaps as a result of living in New York, she has been working out her strategies by doing.
